|You'll love the innovative design of our Moving Dragonflies.
Nature and technology have merged to produce an astonishingly
realistic collection of electronic moving dragonflies.
They are powered by an amazing wire "muscle"
that is used in robotics which provides an allurement
that keeps people fascinated and guessing whether they
are real or not. Graceful and realistic moving dragonfly
figurines make memorable gifts for special "hard-to-buy-for"
business associates, family, and friends. They are completely
silent when operational providing a visually calming mood
in your home and work atmosphere. The Little Blue Dragonlet
(Erythrodiplax minuscula) dragonfly is a relatively widespread
species in nature and can be readily distinguished in
the field by a distinctive powder that develops into a
blue frost (pruina hoarfrost) that covers their thorax
and abdominal body sections, particularly in older insects.
Watersheds are the habitat of the Little Blue Dragonfly
as well as marshy ponds, pools, lakes and slow
moving streams. They are found in Arkansas, the
Bayou, Brazos, Mississippi, Neches, Ouachita, San
Antonio, San Jacinto, St. Francis, Trinity, and
throughout the United States. This species may
be quite commonly perched low on grasses or other
ground cover and they generally don't travel very
far, even when disturbed. Males patrol and defend
small territories close to the water’s
edge where competition is minimal and they have
an easier time escaping larger dragonflies. Mating
occurs quickly, generally in less than 20 seconds,
followed by females laying eggs (ovipositing) on
emergent plants guarded by males.
movement of our electronic robotic dragonfly wings
will make a beautiful addition to any decorative
displays, indoor plants, floral arrangements, garlands
or atriums. Electronic Little Blue Dragonlet
dragonflies are one of our most popular moving
dragonfly insects because of its alluring bright
blue colors. Dragonflies that normally inhabit
ponds and streams have been mimicked electronically
specifically for decorative use in the home where
they will repeatedly flap their wings to the amazement
of your family and friends. No batteries are needed,
unless you desire a battery pack - sold separately.
Just plug them in and enjoy the simulation!
